Chicago, IL, May 8, 2006 – Responding to the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) final ruling on Internet applicants which went into effect Monday, February, 2006, Avidweb Technologies Inc., a leading provider of integrated staffing software solutions, announced of new tools to make it easier for government contractors and subcontractors to comply with the new OFCCP rule regarding Internet Applicants.
The new OFCCP rule requires federal contractors to obtain where possible, gender, race, and ethnicity data on applicants. The rule also requires contractors to retain all expressions of interest by individuals considered and specifies records to be maintained on searches of internal and external databases.
